Digital signage questions
Do I need a digital signage media player?▾
No. Ztalio runs as an app on the smart TV itself, so a Roku, Fire TV, LG, Samsung, Apple TV or Google TV is the player. If you have an older TV, a Roku or Fire TV stick works too.
How much does digital signage cost with Ztalio?▾
One screen is free, with no time limit. Home is $4.99 a month for 3 screens, Venue is $9.99 a month for 10 screens, and Network is $19.99 a month for 25 screens. Annual billing gives you two months free.
Can the screen change content automatically by time of day?▾
Yes. Each playlist can be scheduled to a time window, so a café can show breakfast until 11am and lunch after that without anyone touching the TV. Schedules follow the timezone set on your account.
What file types can I show?▾
Photos and images (JPEG, PNG), video (MP4 and most phone formats, converted automatically) and audio for background music. Export slides from PowerPoint, Keynote or Canva as images or video and upload them.
Does it work if the TV loses internet?▾
The TV needs an internet connection to receive updates and stream media. A brief drop mid-loop usually recovers on its own; for a location with unreliable Wi-Fi we recommend a wired Roku or Fire TV.
Can several people manage the screens?▾
Yes. Home allows 3 users, Venue 10, and Network has no limit, so managers at each location can update their own screens.
